- lime zest
- I soak wheat 24h before using and then cook at low heat for about 3 hours. Rinse well.
- I roast walnuts in the oven and grind finely. I add them to the cooked wheat.
- I sweeten the mixture with sugar and give it a good stir.
- I blend carrots quickly and add dates and cocoa. I mix it all together in a blender until I get a smooth creme.
This is how an energy bar and a dessert would look a hundred years ago, all in one. And it’s equally nutritious and delicious today.
