Sweet Persian Moon Millet


  • millet
  • vanilla soy milk
  • banana
  • vanilla pod
  • saffron
  • persimmon


  1. I heat soy milk up and put a few saffron threads in it.
  2. In the meantime, I wash and rinse the millet. I add it to soy milk and cook for at least 20 minutes while stirring often.
  3. When the millet is cooked and starts to dissolve, I add the vanilla pod and chopped banana.
  4. I serve the weet millet in cups and top or drizzle with smashed persimmon.
